What Is Flat a Bottom Pouch ?

A flat bottom pouch, also called a box bottom pouch or eight-side seal pouch in some markets, is a pre-made flexible bag with front and back panels, two side gussets and a flat base.

After filling, the base opens to create a stable, box-shaped package that stands upright on retail shelves. Its five printable panels provide space for product branding, instructions, ingredients and regulatory information.

Flat bottom pouches are commonly selected when a brand needs stronger shelf presentation and better stability than a conventional stand-up pouch.
